    Shaving with Hamst3r

Watch as I shave off my beard. Sounds thrilling, I know!

So, there’s this meme going around where you draw yourself as a teenager, or if you’re still a teenager you draw what you think you might look like in the future.

There are over 350 of these drawn already: Big Listin’.

Here the one that lead me to this project: Monstro-Draw!

    Anyways, here’s mine, showcasing 16, 18 and 24. It’s not pretty:

    Hmm.

I was reading a couple blogs this morning. One in particular had a link to the national sex offender registry. They have a search feature that allows you to see the sex offenders in your area, all nicely color coded by offense. Apparently I live on Molester Hill as every single square in my area was red. There were 20 squares total, not particularly startling, simply strange that they were all for child molestation. What, is this area not good enough for rapists and wife beaters?

All of this made me curious about what things were actually considered offenses, so I moved on to California sex offender registry…

    A difficult task.

I no longer listen to any RIAA music and very little music sold for money. Yes, my music collection has finally been sterilized and is now only filled with freely downloadable music distributed under a Creative Commons license as well as the soundtracks from some video games and a few non-RIAA CD’s I had.

REQUEST: If you know any video game soundtracks that are legally available for download I’d love to know about them.

Oh, and as always; music from The Hamster Alliance will always be free and available direct from the source. :)

I just finished putting together a new section for this site where I will keep track of all the games that I finish as I finish them. There’s a new tab up at the top of this page entitled Completed Games. Simply click on the Completed Games tab to be whisked away to a magical land where sentient cinnamon buns ride bicycles in the nude and mechanical buffaloes kayak uphill with weasels wearing kaleidoscopic lederhosen. It’s a wonderful place where all your wishes can come true, just remember to bring a lot of butter.

The list only goes back to 2006 though, so if you were expecting to travel far back in time to find out the exact day when I completed Crystal Castles, you’re out of luck. Cataloging every single game completed during my youth and properly organizing them by month and year is simply impossible. I refuse to even attempt it. Even if Genghis Khan were to come back from the dead and threaten me to make that list or else he would dig out both of my eyeballs with a spoon and stick them up my ass, I would opt to for the latter punishment. So, be glad that the list even goes back to 2006. Heck, I even provided little images for each of the games, what more could you want?

    Cheap Thrills: Part Deux

I purchased the following titles earlier this week:
    1. Penumbra: Black Plague
    2. The Experiment (AKA: Experience 112)
    3. Evidence: The Last Ritual (AKA: Missing 2)
    4. ObsCure (AKA: I Know What You Did Last Silent Hill)

I’m really looking forward to playing Penumbra: Black Plague and The Experiment. Penumbra: Overture was a fantastic game and the demo for The Experiment was really good too. I have no idea what to expect from Evidence other than every review states that the game has extremely difficult puzzles.

As for ObsCure, it looks a lot like a Silent Hill mixed with a cheesy teen slasher flick. It has B-Movie written all over it and I hear the voice acting is horrendous, so I hope it can satiate my cravings for poorly done cinema. There’s a new ObsCure game coming out in March too, so I’m going to wait until it comes out and play both games one after another.
